Spain Interview

Bizzaro was very excited when we were invited to meet some of the Spanish squad. It was a great opportunity to talk football with some of the best players in the world. First up was Xavi.


BWC - Spain are the favourites for the tournament. Do you think that puts extra pressure on you?
Xavi - When I spoke to Fabregas, he is certain he wants to move to Barcelona. It is a crime for a player like that not to be playing for Barcelona.
BWC - I don't think you understood the question, I was asking about your chances in the World Cup.
Xavi - Fabregas has Barceolona DNA. There is no Arsenal in his DNA, only Barcelona.


We were not able to get Xavi to respond to any questions, so we hoped to have better luck with Carles Puyol.

CP - I have spoken to Cesc, and he is definitely coming to Barcelona this summer.
BWC - I'm sorry Carles, can we please talk about the World Cup.
CP - We have tested his DNA, and it's definitely Barcelona DNA. Arsenal have no right to keep him.


As the only other player we had access to was Andres Iniesta, we didn't feel there was much point in continuing the interview.
