Following on from yesterdays video of James Corden teaching Rooney how to do a goal celebration, this week's poll will be about world cup goal celebrations. Which is your favourite? Vote on the right hand side of the page.
Marco Tardelli - An explosion of pure emotion, and used in the banner at the top of the page
Finidi George - A great impression of a dog
Ivan Kaviedes - The Ecuadorian Spiderman
Bebeto - It's a cliche now because everyone uses it, but it was novel in 1994
Roger Milla - A classic
Other notable ones that didn't make it are Diego Maradona's celebration against Greece in 1994, which was disqualified for being drug assisted, and Brian Laudrups against Brazil in the same year because it was a blatant rip-off of Roberto Di Matteo's first goal for Chelsea.
well done lads
ReplyDeletemilla's one is indeed a classic but it's gotta be tardelli's for the pure passion of the celebration. they both show what football should be about.
ReplyDeletep.s. the other three really annoy me.
Tardelli is my fave by far
ReplyDeletewhy did finidi george celebrate like that again?
