If you're bored of all the same articles appearing on all the serious football websites, this is the place to come for a more light-hearted view of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. I should also point out that everything on the blog is complete fantasy, so shouldn't be taken seriously.

Best Goal Celebration

Following on from yesterdays video of James Corden teaching Rooney how to do a goal celebration, this week's poll will be about world cup goal celebrations. Which is your favourite? Vote on the right hand side of the page.

Marco Tardelli - An explosion of pure emotion, and used in the banner at the top of the page

Finidi George - A great impression of a dog

Ivan Kaviedes - The Ecuadorian Spiderman

Bebeto - It's a cliche now because everyone uses it, but it was novel in 1994

Roger Milla - A classic

Other notable ones that didn't make it are Diego Maradona's celebration against Greece in 1994, which was disqualified for being drug assisted, and Brian Laudrups against Brazil in the same year because it was a blatant rip-off of Roberto Di Matteo's first goal for Chelsea.

  2. milla's one is indeed a classic but it's gotta be tardelli's for the pure passion of the celebration. they both show what football should be about.
p.s. the other three really annoy me.
